My Story

Hello, I'm Yael Shachar. I was born and raised in the Land of Israel and grew up in a family deeply committed to Zionism. These values instilled in me a profound love for my homeland. During my service in the IDF as an officer, I had my first exposure to the numerous innovations that originate from Israel.

Following my military service and my academic studies at Achva Academic College, I embarked on an ongoing 18-year journey as an educator, teaching subjects like Mathematics, Hebrew, and Israeli culture. When I moved to Florida to teach at the Hebrew Academy in Miami Beach, I realized the importance of conveying to Jewish students the love and connection to Israel.

Meeting the new generation of students, I recognized that the best way to inspire them about Israel was to take them on an extraordinary journey filled with emotions, flavors, scents, tactile experiences, and a deep sense of pride. "Israel STEAM" represents the culmination of my efforts over the last 18 years, and it's my mission to nurture a strong connection to Israel among Jewish students worldwide.
